At Miami International Airport, most car rental companies operate from the MIA Rental Car Center. After collecting your baggage, follow signs for the MIA Mover, the free airport train that connects passengers directly to the Rental Car Center’s customer service lobby. The MIA Mover is located on the third level between the Dolphin and Flamingo garages. The Rental Car Center is open 24 hours a day, though rental operators will have their own hours. Companies located at the center include ACE, Alamo, Avis and Budget.
There are also off-airport rental options near Miami Airport. Fox Rent A Car operates away from the Rental Car Center at 3275 NW 24th Street Road. Customers should take the MIA Mover to the Rental Car Center, then follow signs for “Off Airport Rental Car Shuttles” and board the Fox shuttle in spaces 1 or 2.
