Insurance and Deposits

Foco's standard rental includes Limited Supplier Insurance, which covers bodywork damage and theft but doesn’t extend to keys, tyres, windscreens, glass, or the undercarriage of the vehicle. A refundable security deposit of $94 is temporarily held on the renter’s card and returned once the car is brought back, providing the fuel is fully topped up and there are no outstanding fines, tolls, or other charges.

The damage and theft excess is $1,125, representing the maximum amount the lead driver would be responsible for in the event of damage or theft. So for instance, if repairs cost £2,415, the renter would pay up to $1,125, with the remainder covered by the insurance. Foco also offers Premium Cover options separately to reduce or eliminate this excess.
