At Hamburg Airport, car rental desks are situated within the airport itself rather than within a self-contained rental car center. All rental providers can be found on the arrivals level in Terminal 2 and include renowned names such as Avis, Enterprise, Alamo, Europcar and Hertz. Hamburg Airport’s terminals are currently open daily from 3.45 a.m. to midnight, although the individual rental desks keep their own opening times.

Hamburg also has off-airport rental options linked to the airport. OK Mobility's rental services are operated by their partner FlexToGo from an office outside the airport, with a free shuttle service from the terminals. FlexToGo’s own airport desk can be reached via shuttle from bus stop B between the airport's two interconnected terminals.
